Ms. Shelly Susan Michelle Garrett, 43, of Centre, formerly of Rome, passed away Sunday, February, 17, 2013. Ms. Garrett was born in Floyd County. Ms. Garrett was of the Baptist faith.

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, from 5 until 7 pm. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Henderson & Sons Funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements.

Survivors include her son, Dakota Smith, and his wife, Taylor, Aragon; two grandchildren, father, Lamar Garrett, and his wife, Karen, Rome; sisters, Mrs. Christy Garrett Warren, and her husband, Michael, Aragon, and Ms. Sunny Garrett, Centre, brothers, Bobby Garrett, and his wife, Stephanie, Rome, Matt Mathis, and his wife, Rebekah, Rome; a special friend, Josh Helms, Centre, and nieces and nephews.

Ms. Garett was the daughter of Robert Lamar Garrett and the late Yvonne Virginia Robinson
