MR. ROLAND CULPEPPER

Mr. Roland Culpepper, 88 of Cedar Bluff passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Cherokee Health and Rehab. Mr. Culpepper was a native of Cherokee County, and was a veteran of WWII. He was retired from GE, a member of Local 191 in Rome, American Legion Post 5 and attended Salem United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be 3 pm Monday, March 4, 2013 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Wilson, Rev. Jack Gilbreath and Rev. Tim Killen officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 pm Monday. Donations may be made to the Unity Cemetery fund, or the family will accept flowers. The family request no Food Please. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Doris Killen Culpepper; sister, Jeanette (Jerry) Comer of Cedar Bluff; several nieces, nephews, and special niece, Porsha Duke of Cedar Bluff.

Mr. Culpepper was the son of the late Rufus Washington and Willie Sue Hurley Culpepper.
