Mr. Arthur Nasworthy, 69 of Gadsden passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Riverview Medical Center. Mr. Nasworthy is a native of Talledega County. He was retired from the Army, where he fought in the Vietnam War and was of the Methodist faith.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday, March 15, 2013 at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Noah Cemetery with Military rites. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday. Perry Funeral Home directing. www.perryfuneral.net.

Survivors include wife, Dorothy Ann Harrell Nasworthy: son, Chad Nasworthy of Gadsden: daughter, Amanda (Jayme) Kelton of Attalla: sisters, Yvonne (Jack) Patterson of Leighton,Al., Dorothy (David) Hunsucker of Ohatchee, Nancy (Wayne) Collier of Waldo, Kitty (Danny) Phillips of Alaska; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Nasworthy was the son of the late, Wilbert Webster “Joe” and Gladys Ruth Nasworthy.
