Funeral services will be held Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11 am at the Collinsville Funeral home-Sharpe Chapel with Rev. Charles Woodfin officiating. Buril will follow at Copeland's Bridge Cemetery. Mrs. Mattox is survived by daughters; Carolyn (Winston) Smith, Centre, Martha Marshall, Gainsville, Florida, Debra (Paul) Crook, Spring, Texas, son, Sammy Mattox, Henagar, daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Mattox, 14 grandchildren, 23 great grand children, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mrs. Mattox was preceded in death by parents, Gordon & Mattie Presley Monroe, husband, Ed E. Mattox, and son, Michael Mattox.
