Spring Garden (17-6) takes on Collinsville (16-9) in the winners bracket Tuesday at 2 p.m.
In other opening-round action, Gaylesville defeated Asbury 8-3 and Gaston beat Cedar Bluff 11-0.
Gaston faces Asbury at 3:30 p.m. and Gaylesville takes on Cedar Bluff at 5 p.m. in Tuesday's losers bracket. Winners of those games will play an elimination game, also on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
In Spring Garden’s win over Gaylesville, Lindsey Lambert went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, a walk and four RBI. She also scored two runs.
Jordan Sides went 3 for 3 with a walk and three runs. Heather Smart was 2 for 4 with a double, a RBI and two runs. Tara Mullinax added a triple and a pair of RBI. Bree Blevins was 1 for 2 with three runs, a pair of walks and three RBI.
Blevins picked up the no-hit win in the circle. She struck out eight and walked a batter.
