Sand Rock volleyball defeats Spring Garden

SPRING GARDEN – Megan Battles came away with 11 kills and 11 digs to lead Sand Rock past Spring Garden in volleyball action Thursday afternoon. The scores were 25-10, 25-13, 25-8.

Chelsey Chambers added 31 assists for the Class 2A, No. 4 Lady Wildcats (45-4). Jennifer Campbell had eight kills. Lauren Bell posted 13 digs. Gena Farmer had 11 digs and Logan Smith finished with five aces.

The Lady Wildcats will host the Class 2A, Area 10 tournament on Monday.
