Cedar Bluff, Gaylesville volleyball teams fall at sub-state

The Cedar Bluff Lady Tigers and the Gaylesville Lady Trojans’ respective runs through the 2008 volleyball postseason came to an end Thursday in Class 1A sub-state action.

Cedar Bluff (14-17) fell in four games at Marion County. The scores were 25-27, 26-24, 18-25 and 17-25.

Gaylesville (14-18) also saw its hopes for a trip to Pelham end with a loss at Speake. Those scores were 3-25, 11-25 and 7-25.
