Cedar Bluff voters overwhelmingly approved the sale of alcoholic beverages in the referendum.
Citizens Caring for Children filed suit challenging the constitutionality of the law that enabled the referendum to be held.
According to Cedar Bluff Mayor Bob Davis, the municipality has been on hold so far as taking steps toward implementing the sale of alcoholic beverages. The mayor said town officials will await the court decision and proceed from there
