“It’s picking up,” said Jo Ann Payne, fundraising chairperson, Cherokee Humane Society. “It was a little bit slow at first, but now these flowers are flying out of here like crazy! They really are. We have representation from, I think, every grower in this county. We’ve got a little bit of everything for everybody. As you can see, they are gorgeous, they are absolutely beautiful.”
The Humane Society’s next big event, Pet Portraits with Santa, is scheduled for Nov. 22 under the pavilion in Cedar Bluff Town Park. In case of bad weather, the event will be held in Cedar Bluff Fire Hall
