Cedar Bluff police arrest five on drug charge | Loca

The Cedar Bluff Police Department arrested five people following a consent search at Cedar Bluff Motel early Monday morning. Agents seized a quantity of methamphetamine and marijuana.

Arrested, according to reports, were Vista Danielle Hill, 19; Jonathan Matthew Nicholson, 18 and April Renee Overstreet, 31, all of Cedar Bluff, who were charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a felony charge, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Nicholson was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana in the second degree.

Others arrested, reports said, included Martha Early Nicholson Coleman, 51, of Cedar Bluff and Craig Almond, who were both charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Coleman was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

According to Cedar Bluff Narcotics Agent Jimmy Wallace, the search, which took placed around mignight, resulted in the seizure of a quantity of meth packaged to sell worth about $500-$600 along with scales and other drug paraphernalia.

Wallace made the arrests along with Cedar Bluff Police Chief Steve Walden and Officer Jamey Webb. The nvestigation continues and more arrests could be forthcoming, Wallace said
