At its Mar. 14 meeting, the Sand Rock Town Council accepted the bid of Pro-Cut Lawn Care for the town’s lawn maintenance.
In other business, the council set June 4 as the date for the 2005 Sand Rock Day.
In a related matter, the council and Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Thereasa Hulgan discussed possible changes for the 2006 Sand Rock Day.
The council also voted to enter into a $250 contract with the Chamber.
At the request of youth soccer coach Eddy Norris, the council approved a motion to place a 2005 Sand Rock Wolfpack team state championship plaque in the town hall. The council also granted Norris’ request to purchase a championship sign to be placed on the town park ball field fence
