The Centre Street and Sanitation Department welcomed the New Holland TL 180 2005 Model Tuesday, April 5. The city council accepted bids on the new tractor during a recent city council meeting and the low bidder was Garrett Tractor for $23,602.
Donnie Tallent with the street and sanitation department will be operating the tractor, Paul said.
On behalf of the Street and Sanitation Department, Supervisor Bobby Paul extend his appreciation to Centre Mayor Phil Powell and the Centre City Council for making the decision to purchase this latest piece of equipment. Paul estimated his department mows approximately 43 to 48 miles of streets each season
