The Town of Cedar Bluff is pleased to announce the hiring of Delana Martin as Town Clerk.
Mrs. Martin is a six-year resident of Cedar Bluff. Prior to moving to Cedar Bluff, Mrs. Martin lived in Shawnee, Oklahoma, where she worked in the Clerks office for over 16 years. Mrs. Martin has held the position of Deputy City Clerk for the last six and a half years of her 16 years. Since moving to Cedar Bluff, Mrs. Martin has been employed as an Account Receivable Specialist for Universal Tax Systems, Inc. Mrs. Martin comes to Cedar Bluff with extensive knowledge of municipal governments well as being proficient in computerized accounting systems, Microsoft Word, Excel and numerous office programs. Mrs. Martin is the wife of Bob Martin, a retired Shawnee, OK, police officer and a member of the West Rome Church of God.
The appointment of Mrs. Martin is one of the many changes that the Town of Cedar Bluff has seen over the past year. With the closing of the Seniors Program in September, the funding for Becky Sanders' position ended. Mrs. Sanders agreed to work until a new town clerk could be hired and trained
