The victim, according to reports, was identified as David Darnell Hale, 50, whose body was found pinned under the vehicle at 1080 County Road 155 in the Spring Creek Community.
Responding units included Cherokee EMS, Cherokee County Rescue Squad, Spring Creek Volunteer Fire Department and Cherokee County Sheriff's Department.
The body was transported to Cherokee Medical Center, reports said
