The leaves are turning to gold and it’s time to visit with neighbors and friends.
The event will feature a dunking booth and paint-ball action.
Music also will help liven up the crowd. The FFA Band, the Baileys and Andrea Garrett-Eubanks are featured performers.
Event organizers say there will be lots of great food provided by talented cooks from the Fire Department and the Ladies Club.
Town Clerk Melonie Garrett said the major goal of the annual celebration is to provide a time for residents and visitors to relax and have enjoyable fellowship -- and eat good food.
The activities will be held in the town park from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Sand Rock recently hosted Farm Field Days, which is a a popular annual event with Cherokee County schoolchildren.
The Sand Rock Town Council also is improving the walking track, which will offer residents a good place to exercise and visit
