A Centre Waterworks crew worked to repair a broken water main attributed to sub freezing temperatures which caused water to spill into the Centre Post Office parking lot Thursday afternoon, Jan. 3. Centre was notified of the spill around 3:20 p.m.
Roy Alford, manager, Centre Waterworks, said they repaired another break up the road about 30 minutes before.
According to Alford, this is one of the hazards they face when temperatures remain as low as they have the past few days
