Mr. James Walter “Jimmy” Deems, 63, of Centre, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, in a Gadsden hospital. Smith-Perry Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Deems is survived by his wife, Brenda Deems; a son, Dan Deems of Centre; a step-daughter, Debra Howell Rains of Centre and two step-grandchildren.
