The Lady Warriors evened their record at .500, as Cherokee County defeated Southside 62-55 to begin last week's action then moved above the even mark with a 52-40 victory over Douglas.

Post players Loren Law and Tralonda Melvin had success inside the paint for much of the game, with each scoring 18 points. Ashley Hellums added 14 (shooting 7 for 9 at the foul line), and Melvin grabbed nine rebounds. Courtney Brothers led the Lady Panthers with 18 points, followed by Haley Ball with 18.
