The Gaylesville girls’ basketball team came home from Cave Spring, Ga., Saturday night with a 38-23 victory over Georgia School for the Deaf.

The Lady Trojans jumped out to a 14-2 lead at the first stop and held a 16-8 advantage at halftime. It was 28-19 after three periods.

Desire Tallent, Ashley Slayton and Amy Crane shared scoring honors for Gaylesville with 10 points apiece.
