Cassandra Waldron scored 16 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and came up with four steals to lead Gaylesville (4-2, 0-1) past Georgia School for the Deaf, 43-16, in girls basketball action last Tuesday (Nov. 30).

Waldron shot 8-for-18 from the field.

“We looked good at times,” said Gaylesville head coach Steve Baker. “It’s been a long time since we’ve started out the season with a 4-2 record.”

Also for the Lady Trojans, Amber Moseley scored 14 points on 7-for-16 shooting.

Sloane Brewster scored seven points, followed by Tiffany Haney with four and Jennifer Aldridge with two.

Haney dished out five assists, while Aldridge came up with four steals.

Brewster pulled down nine rebounds, followed by Moseley with seven, Allison Agnew with five and Casey Stallings and Robbie Shelton with four each
