The Gaylesville girls improved to 7-4 following their 42-33 win over Georgia School for the Deaf last Tuesday (Dec. 14) at Cave Springs.

For Gaylesville, Cassandra Waldron recorded a double-double of 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Sloane Brewster scored 16 points, while Tiffany Haney chipped in eight.

Brewster grabbed six rebounds, followed by Haney and Jennifer Aldridge with five each.

Aldridge came up with six steals, followed by Waldron and Brewster with four each and Haney and Amber Moseley with three each.

On Dec. 13, Moseley scored 14 points and Sloane Brewster grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Gaylesville to a 48-44 Class 1A, Area 10 victory over Collinsville.

Also for the Lady Trojans, Waldron scored 13 points.

Haney added eight points, while Brewster and Aldridge each added five.

Allison Agnew pulled down eight rebounds, followed by Waldron with seven, Casey Stallings with six, and Moselely and Robbie Shelton with five each.

Waldron came up with seven steals, while Moseley had five and Aldridge and Haney three each.

Haney dished out four assists
