10 county student-athletes were named to the Alabama Volleyball Coaches Association’s 2004 All-State teams.

Class 1A state runner-up Spring Garden has five players selected to the various squads, followed by Class 2A state semi-finalist Sand Rock with four and Cherokee County with one.

First teamers include Spring Garden senior hitters Mikie Garner and Britney Parris, Sand Rock senior setter Anna Kisor, Sand Rock junior hitter Taylor Burt and Cherokee County senior setter Anna Kisor.

Making the second team is Spring Garden senior setter Candie Hairrell and Sand Rock junior hitter Angelique Kordich.

Honorable Mention selections are Spring Garden junior setter Whitney Mobley, Spring Garden sophomore middle hitter Nicole Ledbetter and Sand Rick senior middle hitter Haley Hincy
