Bruce, Cherokee County High School baseball standout Greg Jelks, longtime CCHS football coach Bobby Joe Johnson, longtime Gaylesville High School football coach Roy Knapp, Sand Rock High School basketball standout Wendell Lawson, Sand Rock High School football standout Ronny Shaw and CCHS and Samford University football standout Paul “Shorty” Trammell.
