The Spring Garden softball team took the runner-up spot in last Saturday’s Cedar Bluff Invitational Tourna-ment.

The Lady Panthers (11-4, 1-1) lost to Crossville, 3-1, in the championship game.

Spring Garden defeated Cherokee County, 8-7, Collinsville, 4-0, and Cedar Bluff, 11-2, in pool play be-fore beating Ohatchee, 2-1, in the semifinals
