Cherokee County managed to keep the game close until the Lady Panthers allowed the Lady Warriors to score only eight points in the third quarter.
CCHS couldnt close the gap, and Spring Garden went on to victory.
Spring Gardens Paige Anderson led all scorers with 20 points, and teammate Bridgett Parris chipped in with 16.
Anissa Anglin led Cherokee County with 18 points.
The Lady Warriors won the opening tip and managed to take off with three quick baskets by Anglin.
The Lady Panthers had a host of players to pitch in and managed to take a 23-14 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Anglin scored eight points in the second quarter, but the CCHS could not stop the Spring Garden offense.
The Lady Panthers managed to outscore the Lady Warriors 15-14 in the quarter to take a 38-26 lead at the half.
CCHS had no room to breathe in the third frame, as it took the Lady Warriors three minutes to grab their first basket.
Spring Garden took full advantage of the lack of CCHS offense and took a 52-34 lead into the fourth quarter.
Cherokee County could not cut into the Lady Panther lead, and Spring Garden moved on to Thursdays semifinal round.
