The Cherokee County High School golf team took second place in a tri-match with Piedmont and Saks on Mar. 12 at the Cherokee County Country Club in Centre.

Saks finished with a 164 score, followed by CCHS with 174 and the Bulldogs with 186.

Match medalist Jake Minnix led the Warriors with a 37 score, while Piedmont’s Kyle Webb shot a 39 score

Saks’ Chad Yarbrough ended with a 38 score
