Both the Tigers (11-12, 7-1) and Gaston (10-11, 7-1) finished with identical area records, but Cedar Bluff was awarded first place by virtue of non-area 1A victories.
The Tigers will host Area 11 runner-up Meek on Tuesday (Apr. 24) at 4 p.m.
