The 6 to 8 age group will attend the clinic from 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday. All other age groups will attend the clinic from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. All age groups will participate in a 9-hole tournament on Friday. Lunch we be served and prizes will be awarded following the tournament.
Jaylon Ellison of Anniston will conduct the clinic, with assistance from local golfers Kim Nichols, Lee Morgan, Jake Minnix and Justin Wood.
A former Jacksonville State University golfer, Ellison and partner Jeremy McGatha have dominated local scramble events for the past several years.
Ellison has won the Sunny King Classic and Cane Creek Invitational, as well as several Calhoun County championships. He is also the defending champion of the Cherokee County Country Club Invitational, where he shot a tournament-record 8 under par for the two-day event.
Attendance is limited to 50 golfers, so early registration is suggested.
