WHERE ARE THEY NOW?: The Cherokee County High School Warriors posed for this autographed picture in 1961. The organizers of this year’s Fall Festival are looking for Centre’s former athletes and coaches in keeping with a reunion theme.
During a recent organizational meeting, Kurt Duryea, who is spearheading this year’s event, reported that they have acquired the use of approximately seven trailers for this year’s parade (including six for team members and one for the coaches who will serve as Grand Marshals for this year’s parade.
Parade lineup begins at 9:30 a.m. at Centre First United Methodist Church and the parade will begin at 10 a.m. and will end at Centre Middle School. Local Photographer Tony Russell will take pictures of participants at the end of the parade.
