GADSDEN – The Sand Rock Lady Wildcat volleyball team improved to 37-9 with a pair of wins over Westbrook Christian and Etowah on Monday.

Sand Rock defeated Westbrook 25-16, 25-12 and 25-9. The Wildcats went on to defeat Etowah 25-11 and 26-24.

Megan Battles, Jennifer Campbell and Carrie Robertson each had 13 kills. Karlie Anderson added 12 kills. Logan Smith tallied 49 assists and 10 aces. Gena Farmer had 16 digs and Kayla Mashburn finished with nine digs.

Sand Rock travels to Gaston in a tri-match with Southside on Tuesday before beginning Class 2A, Area 10 play on Monday.
