The Piedmont at Pleasant Valley football game originally scheduled for Friday has been moved to Thursday night at 7 p.m., according to Piedmont coach Steve Smith.

The Bulldogs come into the contest at 5-1 and 4-0 in Class 3A, Region 5. Piedmont defeated White Plains 28-22 on its homecoming last Friday.

Pleasant Valley is still seeking its first win of the season. The Raiders lost to Leeds last week, 49-18.

This is the second area game that has been moved to Thursday. The Section at Sand Rock game is also slated for Thursday at 7 p.m. The decision to move that game from Friday was made on Monday.
