Local authorities have arrested a Vinemont man in connection with a bur-glary at Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Arrested, according to reports, was Woodrow William Huckeba, 36, who was released on $2,500 bond.

According to reports, investigators with the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office arrested Woodrow William Huckeba on Tuesday, March 9, for the pre dawn Monday burglary of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Huckeba, who was staying with relatives in the area, admitted to the burglary and provided information to investigators that enabled them to recover the property that was taken during the burglary.

Huckeba became a suspect in the theft after a vehicle belonging to a relative was discovered near the church and he was later questioned by deputies who relayed their information to Investigators after it was discovered that a person had used a rock to break a window at the church and gain entry into the building, reports said.
