Arrested, according to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, were Timothy Kip Hulsey of Centre who was charged with manufacturing of a con-trolled substance in the first degree, possession of a controlled substance and probation violation and Nathan Levi Mayhall of Centre Nathan Levi Mayhall, Centre who was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a con-trolled substance.
According to Shaver, investigators and depu-ties from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and Narcotics Unit and Investigator Jerry Pounds with the City of Centre responded to County Road 69 in Centre to serve a probation warrant on Timothy Hulsey. Hulsey was found locked in the bathroom attempting to flush methamphetamine down the toilet.
After the meth was recovered, consent to search the residence and property was obtained. Agents located a meth lab along with ingredients to manufacture meth inside the garage of the residence. Drug paraphernalia was also found at the location. A small amount of meth was found in a vehicle belonging to Mayhall, Shaver said.
Both suspects were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
