Glencoe 62, Piedmont 50 — At Glencoe on Tuesday, the Class 3A, second-ranked Glencoe Yellow Jackets girls’ basketball team defeated Piedmont 62-50 Tuesday night to improve to 3-0 in 3A, Area 10.
Lexie Stanley’s 12 points led the Glencoe (5-1) attack, while Chelsi Matthews and Baileigh Little scored 11 points each. Matthews also had nine rebounds and four steals.
Raven Porter scored 14 points for Piedmont (2-2) in the loss.
Asbury 64, Gaylesville 39 – The Asbury Rams defeated Gaylesville 64-39 behind 18 points and eight rebounds from Jessica Pelham and 11 points by Brittany Williams.
Gaylesville (2-3) was led by Hannah Beason, who scored 12 in the loss.

Geraldine 44, Sand Rock 39 – At Geraldine on Tuesday, Sand Rock dropped to 3-6 following a 44-39 loss to the Lady Bulldogs.
