Two people arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine at Sand Rock location

Cherokee County Narcotics agents arrested two people following the seizure of a working meth lab in Sand Rock Monday, Dec. 22.

Arrested, according to reports, were Billy Matthew Tucker and Colby Sturart Brunson who were both charged with manufacturing methamphetimine in the second degree.

Agent Chris O'Neal, reports said, received information Monday about a meth lab at 2545 Lookout street in Sand Rock. When Narcotics unit agents and Cherokee County deputies responded to the location and knocked on the door, they s heard people running and glass breaking. The officers gained entry and discovered a working meth lab. They obtained and executed a search warrant.

Both subjects were transported to Cherokee County Detention Center. Tucker was released on bond only six hours earlier, having been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine in the second degree, reports said.
